TREASURE HOUSE at NIKKO TOSHOGU SHRINE
Registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Nikko Toshogu, one of the most famed Shinto shrine established in 1617 to enshrine Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first Shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate system who successfully pacified Japan, underwent an eighteen year renovation project called the Great Heisei Renovation to commemorate the 400th anniversary of his death in 2015. Our rain chain was selected and installed in the main entrance hall of this historical shrine’s treasure house.

This L-size "Migumo" is designed to be installed on large roofs. It is mainly for public buildings and temples with large eaves. The water flowing down this large rain chain is powerful, so when it rains, it can be seen as a water landscape created by nature. Because of the large volume of water that can be drained, the system is also used for large buildings with large roof areas, such as railway station buildings.
